Price per veneer and for a full set
At Dentritz, porcelain veneers start at €300 per tooth, made by our on-site ceramists. Most patients treat the teeth that show when they smile — typically 8 on the top, sometimes 6–8 on the bottom — so a full upper set starts around €2,400.
The exact number is decided at your smile-design stage, from your photos and scan, not from a flat package.
| Item | Dentritz (Turkey) | UK / W. Europe (typical) |
|---|---|---|
| Porcelain veneer (per tooth) | from €300 | €1,000–€2,500 |
| Upper set of 8 veneers | from €2,400 | €8,000–€20,000 |
| Upper + lower (14–16 veneers) | from €4,200 | €14,000–€40,000 |
How many veneers do you actually need?
It depends on how much of your smile shows when you talk and laugh. For many people that's the top 6–8 teeth; for a wide smile it can be 10 on top. Treating more teeth than show is usually unnecessary — and every extra tooth reshaped is enamel you don't get back.
A clinic that recommends a fixed number before looking at your smile is selling a package, not designing a smile.
How the process works, day by day
A full veneer case fits comfortably into one trip of 5–7 days, across 2–3 clinic visits with rest days between for lab work.
- Day 1: consultation, digital scan, photos and shade matching
- Day 1–2: trial smile or mock-up so you approve shape and shade before anything is final
- Day 2–3: minimal tooth preparation and temporary veneers
- Day 4–6: final veneers fitted, bite checked and adjusted
How much tooth is removed — and when to skip veneers
Veneers usually need a thin layer of enamel removed, typically under a millimetre, and in some cases almost none. That is the key difference from crowns, which cover and reshape the whole tooth.
Veneers are not always the right answer. If teeth are only slightly discoloured, whitening is cheaper and removes nothing. Small chips or gaps can sometimes be handled with bonding, and crowded teeth may be better served by orthodontics. A trustworthy clinic tells you this before quoting.
How long veneers last — and how to look after them
Well-made porcelain veneers commonly last 10–15 years or more. Longevity depends mostly on bonding quality, your bite, and habits such as grinding or biting hard objects.
- Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth
- Keep regular dental check-ups and hygiene visits
- Avoid biting nails, ice or pen caps
- Ask what the guarantee covers and what voids it
