What a ‘Hollywood Smile’ actually is
In most clinics, including ours, a Hollywood Smile is a set of metal-free zirconia or e.max crowns — typically around 16–20 units across both arches — chosen for a uniform, camera-ready shade and shape. It’s built on the same crown treatment used to restore broken or heavily filled teeth, just applied cosmetically across a full smile.
The name doesn’t describe a fixed treatment or a fixed price. Two patients booking a ‘Hollywood Smile’ can end up with very different plans depending on how many teeth are healthy, how much reshaping is wanted, and whether crowns are even the right tool for every tooth.
Price per crown and full-package cost
At Dentritz, a zirconium or e.max crown starts at €150 per tooth, made in our on-site lab so shade and shape can be fine-tuned while you’re still in Istanbul. A full-arch package is quoted from your scan, not sold as a flat menu price, because the number of units and any prep work varies by case.

Crowns or veneers — which is your real ‘Hollywood Smile’?
This is the decision that matters more than the country you treat in. A crown covers the whole tooth and needs meaningful reshaping underneath; a veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front and preserves far more of the natural tooth.
Crowns are the right call for teeth that are broken, heavily filled, root-treated or badly discoloured from the inside. For teeth that are otherwise healthy and just need a more uniform shape or colour, veneers — or in some cases whitening plus minor bonding — get a similar look with far less removed. A clinic that puts everyone on 20 crowns regardless of tooth condition is optimising for the package price, not for you.

How to avoid an overdone result
The ‘Turkey teeth’ look — flat, uniformly bright, slightly too large — almost always comes from skipping the steps below, not from the country the work is done in.
- Ask for a mock-up or trial smile before anything is prepared, so you approve the shape first
- Pick a shade that suits your skin tone, not the brightest option on the chart
- Confirm in writing which teeth get crowns and which could stay as veneers or be whitened instead
- Get a video consultation with the treating dentist before you book
- Ask what the guarantee covers and what would void it
